Pray for the meeting of the General Council this incoming week – jointly convened by Mrs Avril Heenan and Rev Dr David Bruce. Pray for the work of the Council, for wisdom and discernment, as it considers some complex and challenging issues which will affect the life of the Church going forward

Training in Ministry

The Ministerial Studies and Development Committee oversees the training pathways of trainee ministers and their congregational placements. Pray for the Committee and for its convener, Rev Eddie Chestnutt. Pray too, for Rev Gordon Best, the Dean of Ministerial Studies and Development. Ask God to give them wisdom in all of the decisions about the training of students.
